Extra Extra: Another News Update

After being informed that Carl Paladino apologized for some of his anti-gay remarks, and after discovering that Mr. Paladino rented space in Buffalo to two gay clubs, one or both of which were run by his son, the previously noted New York orthodox rabbis withdrew their endorsement of Mr. Paladino.

Consequently, the Carnival Party brass, which in New York is resembling the Circus Party, stopped construction of the PALADINO BRAINWASHING CENTER. Whether the rabbis will request that CENTER construction be continued and be renamed the TOLERANCE BRAINWASHING CENTER is unclear.

WHY AM I BLOGGING?

Given our current political climate, making phone calls, poll sitting, and sending out e-mails to politicians, pundits, and misinformed family members and friends is not enough to satisfy my "activist" appetite. Although these activities are important and worthwhile they are not far reaching enough.

Consequently, as I don't have the platform of a newsppaer columnist or talk show host, I feel compelled to blog so that my unique perspective on the state of affairs of our society and political landscape can be made available to the millions who will no doubt read my blogs.

Finally, as a point of clarification for those who might have a question, "Old Lefty," does not refer to my throwing hand, but to my Left-of-Center politics. I will write later as to exactly what that means. Thanks for visiting the site and please feel free to leave any rational feedback.
